Walking can add time to your life. This enables you at 85 years
old to spend an Additional 5 months in
a nursing home at $5000 per month.
My
grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was 60.
Now she's 97 years old and we don't know where the hell
she is.
The only reason I would take up exercising is so that I could
hear heavy breathing again.
I
joined a health club last year, spent about 400 bucks.
Haven't lost a pound. Apparently you have to go there.
I
have to exercise early in the morning before my brain figures
out what I'm doing.
I
have flabby thighs, but fortunately my stomach covers them.
The
advantage of exercising every day is that you die healthier.
If
you are going to try cross-country skiing, start with a small
country.
.............And last but not least,
You could run this over to your friends but why not just e-mail
it to them!

Exercise for
People Over 50
Begin by standing on a comfortable surface, where you
have plenty room at each side.
With a 5-lb potato sack in each hand, extend your arms
straight out from your sides and hold them there as long as you
can.
Try to reach a full minute, and then relax.
Each day you'll find you can hold this position for just
a bit longer. After a couple of weeks, move up to 10-lb potato
sacks. Now try 50-lb potato sacks.
Then eventually try to get to where you can lift a 100-lb
potato sack in each hand and hold your arms straight for more
than a full minute (I'm at this level).
After you feel confident at that level, put a potato in each of
the sacks.
