Consignment Shop

Time to check out those closets – Look for items to sell

The very popular Marathon Consignment Shop will be held again this year. If you have evening wear, competition or performance costumes, shoes and jewelry you want to sell bring it to the Consignment Shop. The shop will sell your items and keep 25% of the selling price. Check your closets and make a list of the items you want to sell. You do not have to enroll in the Marathon to

sell your items. Bring your items on Friday morning September 26 to the Exceptional Foundation.

2008 Homewood Dance Marathon

ATTENTION: Early registration of $85.00 ends August 31 – don’t miss out on this great rate!!!

Barbara Pilato has announced the dates for the 2008 Homewood Dance Marathon. The Marathon will be held Sept 26, 27, 28, 2008 at the Homewood Park. Mark your calendar for this last weekend in September. The weekend pass includes three full-length general dances with live bands, seven hours of workshops, exhibitions, Dancing with the Birmingham Stars, dance related vendors and a consignment shop. Early registration (by 8/31) will be $85.00 for the weekend pass. After 8/31, the cost will be $105.00. There will be three levels of classes taught this year. Classes will be held at the Exceptional Foundation and the Homewood Park all located on Oxmoor Road in Homewood just across the parking lot from each other. You should receive an application form in the mail. If you do not receive a form in the mail, go to renez.com/birminghamballroom and download the material you need or call 205-332-6500 to request registration information.
